PadLED is a minimalist designed LED surface-mounted lighting system. The ceiling-mounted base elements act as power feeds, which are interconnected via a flat, self-adhesive tape with integrated conductivity. Square pads are attached to the base elements by means of magnets. The pads are of aluminium and dissipate the heat from the LEDs perfectly. Various decors can be imposed on the pads.
Statement by the Jury
This surface-mounted lighting system provides a solution which is as simple as it is convincing for mounting LEDs on the ceiling without much preparation or installation work.
