Our Common House

Back Download

Our Common House is a collection of digit-shaped nesting boxes that are also used to mark street addresses in city areas. These boxes provide nesting sites for wild birds in the city and allow bird populations to coexist successfully and peacefully with humans. The outer casing that covers each nesting box is made of natural fired clay, while the boxes are made of natural wood (pine, oak, or poplar). Together, they provide wild birds with a comfortable breeding site as well as protection from the elements and urban predators.
