“Enduring, not ultimate form”: from “Industrieform” to Red Dot (1980 - 1997)
One Flower Realm
This biodegradable vase addresses garden waste by combining soy, beeswax, and palm wax with natural materials like leaves and seeds. When buried, it degrades into fertiliser for seeds in the vase to nurture new plants. The production process mixes plant fibres and wax for strength, creating unique textures. This design integrates traditional Chinese culture with modern sustainability to redefine everyday items.
