This ecologically sound packaging for a port wine visually and effectively implements the objective to return to nature what is taken from it. Structure and form are inspired by an acorn. The materials used are cork and wood and take a stand for cork oak forests, which are found in the Mediterranean region in particular and play a vital role in the ecosystem. In addition to the product, the packaging contains a real acorn covered with soil. The consumer can plant it and thus make a contribution to saving the cork oak. The three-part packaging supports this process; in just a few steps it can be reused as a planting pot, in which the new tree can grow.
