The XZ-1 is a compact digital camera with integrated ZUIKO lens and high light intensity. Up to now, such high-end optics had been used for single-lens reflex and system cameras only. The XZ-1 is moreover equipped with a large CCD sensor and a high-performance image processor. The camera produces outstanding results even under unfavourable lighting conditions. This makes it a first choice for ambitioned amateurs and professional photographers. New features include setting options via the lens control ring and the OLED display on the back side. The exterior of the camera renders a convincing impression as well: a compact housing with refined finishes in matte black or white.
