Gently enveloping the seated body shape, the Nuez armchair is nonetheless also characterised by its technical look. The idea behind the design was to develop a wave-like seat that appears to be made from a sheet of paper. In reality, the shell combines fabric and thermoplastic materials to create a harmonious unit. The injection-moulded shell has a three-dimensional undulating surface and gently rounded edges. The upholstery bears witness to the complex manufacturing process.
