In order to ensure harmonious integration into the living environment, the Nest Audio smart speaker is completely covered with fabric and available in five different colours. The fabric also covers the invisible touch control elements for adjusting the volume. With its gently curved, flattened shape, the device is somewhat reminiscent of a pillow. The body, the textile material and some smaller components mainly consist of recycled materials. Thanks to the woofer, tweeter and software for sound tuning, the Nest Audio provides a convincing audio experience, with the acoustics being adapted to the surroundings and music genre. It can also be used with compatible smart home devices via voice command.

Statement by the Jury

The Nest Audio looks like an elegant home accessory. It impresses with its sound and controls via voice command as well as in terms of sustainability: the device is mainly made of recycled plastic.
