“Enduring, not ultimate form”: from “Industrieform” to Red Dot (1980 - 1997)

In keeping with Songdo Park’s relaxingtone, the museum design follows the park’s natural curves. The final layout resembles a child’s abstract scribbles, creating a fluid transition and organic visitor flow from the flexible, open promenade into the museum and its curved exhibition areas. The museum records the stories that flow through and becomes an integral part of the park’s experience.
