Exhibition Design
Nagoya Design Meets Graz
The design concept of the exhibition “Nagoya Design Meets Graz” is based on three elements: the use of wood and paper, which are basic elements of Japanese design; the size of tatami mats, which are a traditional way of measuring room sizes in Japan; and the specific use of light and shadow, which reflects a fundamental principle of Japanese aesthetics. The exhibition is divided into six different areas and, with its architecture, invites visitors to discover design from Nagoya in every corner.
