The MTT6 can measure body temperature in two ways: on the forehead or in the ear. Considering that the conventional pistol shape of infrared thermometers can seem threatening, particularly to children, the device displays a smooth design language with an only slightly sloping curve to ensure unrestricted eye contact with the other person. The elliptical layout of the casing is clearly perpetuated in the display design.

With its reduced form, the MTT6 follows a user-friendly approach, questioning the common aesthetics of infrared thermometers and reinterpreting them in a skilful way.
