MONOis1

The designers of the MONOis1 took on the challenge of creating a chair that is cast in one mould. To achieve this, they started with the typology of a classic four-legged chair and develops it further, adding refined form transitions and edge gradients. The structural engineering is based on the interplay of stiffening surfaces and finely modelled cross sections, which also reduces the amount of material required. According to the jury, the seating furniture cast from polypropylene is impressive “as an elegant and comfortable product solution that fits into different rooms and meets contemporary seating needs”. The stackable multi-purpose chairs are available in various colours.
