Masterpiece Skeleton
The design of the mechanical, open-worked Masterpiece Skeleton watch allows viewers to see the ML134 movement. No dial hides the inner workings, so the full horological mastery with its mainspring, balance, winding and numerous other microscopically small components is revealed. The positioning of the individual elements has been meticulously planned and recalls a spoke-like arrangement that can be viewed from all sides. The blue colouring of certain parts gives the watch an almost avant-garde appearance.
Statement by the Jury
High horological skill comes to the fore in the design of the Masterpiece Skeleton wristwatch. In addition, its contrasting use of colour is an eye-catching feature.
