Retail Concept
Malzers – Bäcker seit 1901
A modular concept was developed for the redesign of the German bakery chain Malzers. It had to consider functions and product groups as well as meet the expectations of the customers. Ergonomics and employee work processes were also optimised. The use of authentic materials such as wood, stone and steel is a key element of the modern, yet welcoming interior. The design of the places where the baked goods need to take centre stage, is reduced to a simple, black platform frame. Together with the high-quality furnishing of the seating area, this creates a clean, loft-like overall impression.
