Magic Trackpad
The Magic Trackpad is a multi-touch trackpad specially developed for use with Mac desktops. It works with the same technology already implemented in Mac notebook trackpads, enabling the desktop to now likewise be controlled with many different gestures. The trackpad consists of touch-sensitive, wear-resistant glass promising a comfortable haptic experience. The user strokes the surface with soft gestures to open websites, zoom in and out of screen content, or scroll through documents. In comparison to the notebook trackpad, the Magic Trackpad is nearly 80 per cent larger, providing considerably more space for intuitive gestures. The entire surface behaves like a computer mouse: tapping on any spot of the pad substitutes for a mouse click. The trackpad can therefore be used either as the sole input device or in combination with a mouse. The unit connects via Bluetooth to the desktop so that it may be freely placed next to the keyboard.
