Lydian

Ease of repair is an often invisible but important design factor for the longevity of goods. The Lydian lighter combines this aspect with a shape that, thanks to its ultra-thin piezo igniter, is very slender and particularly easy to grip. The body is CNC-milled with flawless finishing and has the ergonomics of a candle lighter in the size of a pocket lighter. The lighter can be refilled in no time at all and is user repairable in under five minutes. The jury reasoned that the minimalist use of materials, coupled with the high-quality technology and hand-friendly haptics, makes the Lydian lighter an excellent alternative to disposable lighters, which are massively harmful to the environment in their frequency of use.
