Livescribe 3 writes like an ordinary pen but is used for handwriting capture, audio recording and instantly digitising notes for cloud storage. The pen can be paired with a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth to transfer written notes directly to the mobile device. A camera on the pen tip records what the user is writing on special dot paper, allowing for subsequent synchronisation of audio recordings with written notes. A rechargeable battery powers the smartpen for up to 14 hours.
