Island Ecosystem Across the Sea

The purpose of the design for the “Island Ecosystem Across the Sea” exhibition in the Honam National Institute of Biological Resources in South Korea is to make the island’s biodiversity tangible for visitors and reveal the development of various life forms in a transparent and understandable way in order to provide comprehensive insight into the ecosystem and show that it is worthy of protection. The focal point of the presentation is a room which serves as an island-like showcase. Generous display cabinets were erected around the central exhibition space to provide an impressive panoramic view of the ecosystem.
