iPod Hi-Fi
The iPod Hi-Fi, a compact speaker system with a robust, clean appearance, was developed as a complement to the Apple iPod series. The three speakers are fitted with a cone-shaped membrane. Two 80-mm speaker chassis are located in separate chambers, isolated from the front cover, while the bass sound of the iPod Hi-Fi is produced with a 130-mm woofer. Low frequencies are enhanced inside the housing and then directed, via attuned cones, to the openings in the front cover. With an integrated Universal Dock, any iPod with docking connection can be fitted in and charged up when the iPod Hi-Fi is connected to the mains. The system can also run on batteries for mobile use. Ergonomically-enhanced handles make the system easy to transport. At the rear, additional connection options exist for analogue and optical-digital connections to laptops, computers, game consoles and DVD players.
