IDÜLL Ice Cream

IDÜLL (idyll) is an ice cream brand produced for the Estonian market. Its packaging design is informed by Scandinavian restraint and makes reference to the art movements of suprematism and constructivism, which were popular in the 1920s when the first independent Estonian Republic was founded. The design also aims to communicate traditional values of Estonians and the beauty of their country by using photographs of Estonian houses and scenery. The matt white background gives the packaging a modern premium touch. Using materials which are as light and recyclable as possible, the goal is still to ensure the product is stored safely.
