The IC-1 instrument column is an optical instrument table for eye examinations. It consists of a wall-mounted column and an attached table. The table height can be electrically modified and therefore easily adjusted to the patient’s sitting or standing position. Since there is no restricting table base, it offers sufficient space for wheelchair users. The robust aluminium construction provides ample stability.
Statement by the Jury
The airy design of this instrument column successfully merges the table and wall elements into a harmonious unit that also saves a considerable amount of space.
