Nexo is the manufacturer’s first fuel-cell SUV and was developed on its own platform in order to give the car a unique appearance that reflects its sophisticated drive technology. The front is marked by daytime riding lights, which are continued across the entire width and symbolise the horizon, and by a trapezoidal grille with wave pattern. Air curtains in the front bumper, recessed door handles, flat wheel rims and concealed air tunnels in the D pillar enhance the aerodynamics and lower wind resistance.
Statement by the Jury
The Nexo is in tune with the spirit of the times with the combination of fuel-cell drive and SUV vehicle. An aerodynamic design imparts a calm, powerful and simultaneously elegant impression. A concise detail is the continuous LED strip on the grille.
