Heart of Iceland

At the Þingvellir (Thingvellir) visitor centre, an interactive exhibition takes visitors on a journey through history and the special aspects of Iceland’s natural wonder. Ten installations encourage visitors to interact with the place where the country became a commonwealth. The different stations include detailed illustrations in delicate strokes of historical events, giving insights into the flora and fauna. Using ice-blue and gold as colours, the shimmering scenes contrast with the rock-like backgrounds against which they are set.
