This set-top box displays reduced design language, characterising it as a piece of furniture rather than a technical device. Its slim form, bright colours and floating bottom design give it a soft, friendly appearance. The box supports conventional functions, such as 3D, HD, Smart TV, Wi-Fi, OTT and DLNA, and it also includes an integrated hard drive for recording television programmes.
Statement by the Jury
The digital set-top box takes a strong departure from the conventional technical look of such devices, instead conveying a friendly, congenial appearance.
