Hall of Eastern Art – Zu-Shi Temple in San Shia
The Zu-Shi Temple in San Shia is Renowned for its artistic stone and wood carvings and copper sculptures. This publication reflects on the superior traditional craftsmanship, which is today increasingly being lost, as well as the cultural value of Taiwanese temples, focusing on sculptures and blending information and image analyses to create easy-to-understand brochures. By combining the unique colours of the temples and presenting the totem sculptures in powerful images, the publication helps readers understand and appreciate the significance and aesthetic of this art form.
