The linear robot FRA has one of the world’s first active vibration stabilisation systems that enables particularly smooth movements and is intelligently connected with its environment. White LEDs indicating the on and off status make the machine seem alive. Based on computer calculations, an optimum design with maximum stiffness has been developed. Its main characteristic is the tapered shape of the main arm. The colour code with stationary parts in dark blue and moving parts in metallic blue visually distinguishes them from each other.

Statement by the Jury

Due to its optimised design structure, the linear robot provides excellent functionality. Its geometry is also a visual highlight.
