Flexibility

Back Download

“Flexibility” was created by the Danish architect and designer Naur Klint in the 1960s and rediscovered in the archives of the Design Museum Denmark. The sans serif font has now been revised and gently adjusted for the museum’s visual identity, signage, publications and merchandise. The design was based on three original printouts. Each individual letter was carefully and precisely digitalised in order to marry the hand-drawn and digital characters artistically. For the characters, which were available as originals in different versions, uniform basic forms were created that remained loyal to the original design.
