The compendium makes use of an aesthetic that combines the delicatessen and catering elements with industry-specific information. It thereby creates a well-balanced symbiosis of appealing full-page food photos that stimulate the appetite and clear, cleanly arranged specialist information that takes flavourists by the hand, providing them with all the relevant information in the area of food technology. Together with the index punching, the newly designed colour keys on the upper margin ensure that readers can quickly find what they are looking for. Complemented by additional design elements such as overview and foldout pages, the compendium constitutes a stimulating and highly varied industry-specific book.
