FishAct – Stop Overfishing
Against the backdrop that fish stocks have decreased by 87 per cent since records began and the fact that, if this development continues, our seas will be empty by the year 2048, FishAct trains volunteers to document illegal fishing and overfishing. The NGO’s new logo, showing a swarm of 30 fish, one for each year that remains, became a living infographic about the world’s fish stock. The corresponding microsite, along with this live countdown to 2048 that is directly linked to a call to action for donations, provides visitors with information on the background of threatened species or the state of individual seas.
