Embrace

Many people with visual impairments are not completely blind. Because most parents with low or impaired vision can only see distances of less than 3 metres, existing baby trolleys limit their ability to navigate when they are with their child. Embrace aims to improve the mobility and quality of life of visually impaired parents and their young children. Existing baby trolleys on the market often obstruct the front view but Embrace repositions the baby seat closer to the user to give the user a clear view in front. In addition, a wider wheel base and slightly raised baby seat allows the user to step closer and easily reach their child. To enhance security, a built-in reverse brake helps to stop the trolley in an emergency. Red Dot Award: Design Concept | Concept | Childhood
