Affordable Energy Furnace in Chinese Rural Area
Duo
In eastern cuisine, cooking multiple dishes simultaneously is recurrent and enjoying food socially is highly valued. Duo aims to make cooking faster, easier and more enjoyable through a unique parallel cooking structure comprising two concentric pots that offer different cooking methods over the same heat source.
The outer pot is intended for low-pressure cooking to speed up the cooking for ingredients that require longer cooking times. Its unique torus shape presents an inner funnel structure which increases the heating surface area, thus cooking up food even faster and more homogeneously. The low-pressure lid is sealed in place via the sliding side handles that act as a lock.
An inner small pot can be inserted into the funnel of the outer pot and it is meant for boiling other ingredients that cook quickly. A twist and lock lid allows the user to easily insert or remove the inner pot. Finally, users can remove both lids, setting up the two pots as a traditional hot-pot unit. Communal cooking at the table with friends and family has never been more effortless.
