Dual Time Resonance
The oval shaped case is the logical consequence of the two side-by-side instead of vertical configurations of the movements. The additional space allows for two spring housings per movement and a longer power reserve. Thus, the glass back enables a view of the four spring housings simultaneously winding up. The independent movements make it possible for the Dual Time Resonance to display two time zones or a timer or countdown setting. Furthermore, a power reserve indicator and a 24-hour indicator are located at six o’clock on the hand-guilloche dials.
Statement by the Jury
The ingenious and well-considered design of the Dual Time Resonance offers a fascinating display of precision.
