Dong You Ji Baijiu

The Guangxi region is known for its sugar cane production. It is this plant, rather than wheat or rice, which is used as a raw material in this baijiu, a type of Chinese liquor. It gives the drink a sweetness popular with younger consumers in particular. The design of the bottle uses the colours blue and white to echo the natural environment in Guangxi. Its label shows graphical elements inspired by the well-known legend “The Eight Immortals Cross the Sea”. The easy-to-carry outer packaging is made from pressed bagasse, which decomposes naturally and is thus friendly to the environment.
