The dermaject intradermal injection device is used for inserting medication into the top layer of the skin. The design language of the plastic housing indicates the direction the puncture will take place. The device features a microneedle and a patented cannula insertion mechanism, which determines the exact injection depth and angle of the cannula. Prior to the injection the microneedle is unlocked at the touch of a button, and after the injection it is retracted into the housing to prevent needle prick injuries.
