The Dell XPS 17 laptop features an extremely narrow bezel on all four sides. This allows the 17” screen to fit into a 15” body, which is advantageous for mobile users. The chassis has been CNC-milled and has a higher strength than magnesium or plastic. The black carbon-fibre palm rest is also durable and lightweight. The hinge is designed in such a way that the lid can be opened easily and is held stably in position.

The very narrow frame around the screen makes the laptop ultra-compact and masters the balancing act between portability and maximum display area.
