“Enduring, not ultimate form”: from “Industrieform” to Red Dot (1980 - 1997)
D-ACT
D-ACT (Daedong Autonomous Concept Tractor) senses soil conditions, optimises moisture and fertiliser application, and uses lasers to selectively cauterise weeds without harming crops. It features a detachable micro personal electric vehicle for autonomous commuting and a versatile drive module that transforms between wheels and crawlers for different tasks. The front attachment can be modified into an excavator to enhance task accuracy.
