The waterproof, shock- and cold-resistant Coolpix AW100 digital camera is particularly suited to outdoor use. With functions such as GPS support, a digital compass and a world map, pictures can be geo-tagged. A special functional mode allows the user to change settings by simply swinging the camera. In this way, it may also be operated underwater or when the user is wearing gloves. The dial-type battery chamber and memory card slot provide additional stability.
