The Serpentine Eco-Bridge
Clockwork Stories
Clockwork Stories is a series of playground contraptions. They are conceived as characters that “breathe” bubbles when provoked. The presence of different surrounding light sources and phenomena such as wind, water current, human interactions will activate the life of these creatures.
These stories with spectacular light sequences are slowly revealed by the characters. Clockwork Stories aims to bring to the surface situations and relationships in the city. It invites participation from the public, encouraging people to engage in the simple joy of reconnecting with the environment. The installation also aims to empower users through the use of alternative resources and demonstrates a possible way to appreciate daily nuances and shift the way users experience the world.
