“Enduring, not ultimate form”: from “Industrieform” to Red Dot (1980 - 1997)
Chroma
CHROMA analyses how colour theory and tactility interact to generate diverse colour perceptions. It challenges digital flatness by reintroducing three-dimensional colour influenced by light. Using hue and complementary contrasts, CHROMA creates a vibrant palette. Gradients and materials like satin and chiffon add dimension and realism, creating tones that never existed. CHROMA aims to create textiles that challenge colour perception through material manipulation.
