Chaozhou Sanbao

Chaozhou Sanbao is a group of three products from the Chaozhou region which are extracted from plants in that area, for example kumquat. These plants are known to have beneficial and protective effects on the human organism. Inspired by local crafts, the packaging evokes natural simplicity. The illustrations which portray the respective main ingredient and the typography are created using manual woodcut engraving. Both the illustrations and the typography are then applied to handmade paper applying manual screen printing. The paper is used for the labels as well as for the cover of the outer packaging.
