According to the jury, these furniture pieces owe their aesthetic to “a distinctive design vocabulary, highlighted by the use of carefully crafted wood”. The collection consists of three items with different dimensions: a small side table, a wider coffee table and a narrow stool. They all blend harmoniously into any interior. The Finnish name AVIO means “married”, in reference to the pieces’ two-part structure in which the two halves are joined to create a whole with the help of a simple plug connection. Rounded contours and a symmetrical form define the natural look of the furniture pieces, which are produced from certified oak and available in two different colours.
