In this day and age, smartphone users spend long periods of time on their phones, particularly when gaming. Weight was therefore a key factor in the design of the Aquos zero2. As a result, one of the aims was to give the smartphone a slim profile. It was also equipped with a convex magnesium frame at the sides for better finger grip. The rear of the smartphone, which is made of highly rigid material, is curved so that it rests comfortably in the hand.
