Apple remote control

The Apple Remote enables the user to operate the iPod or Mac from the other end of the room. All one has to do is plug the iPod into the iPod Universal Dock which then in turn is connected to a TV set, a stereo music centre or active speakers with internal power supply. In this way, and according to the user's needs and wants, the Apple Remote can control videos, slide shows, music or Podcasts without having to get up from the cozy sofa. A clearly laid-out user interface includes just six buttons for start/pause, volume control and next/back. The innovative technology of the Apple Remote also supports the iMac G5. With Front Row, a menu-controlled photo interface, stored music files, videos or DVDs can be easily played back on the computer.
