As 3-phase power is used more commonly due to its efficiency in generation, transmission and distribution, the new PG Series 3-Phase Eco has been developed. The power distribution units are available in an IEC socket configuration and are equipped with a 0U rack enclosure to meet the increasing demand for power for high-density IT equipment in server rooms and data centres. Each unit features an ARM Cortex-A8 processor and 30 power sockets that provide power to connected devices in less than 10 seconds. The jury was impressed by the “compact design” of the PDUs as they “take up less space and can be deployed cost-effectively”.
