Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2015 - regular phase has started!
The second registration phase for the Red Dot Award: Communication Design 2015 has started: Until 21 May designers and marketing experts can register under regular conditions. On 22 May, with the Latecomer phase the final possibility to enter the creative competition starts. It ends on 19 June 2015.
The Red Dot Award: Communication Design is geared toward all creative talents, from agencies to design offices and freelancers to companies. Whether Corporate Design, Advertising or Online - in a total of 17 categories the search is for the most innovative campaigns from the world of communication design. In addition to the individual awards, each year the Red Dot: Agency of the Year and the Red Dot: Client of the Year are selected for special achievements. The Red Dot Award: Communication Design also provides a platform for up-and-coming designers, with the best piece of work by an apprentice, a student or young graduate winning the Red Dot: Junior Prize along with prize money of 10,000 EUR.
A competition is only as good as its jury. Every year, Red Dot invites highly respected experts from the world of design to rate international contributions to the competition and to award the most creative achievements. During long sessions, the jury assesses each piece of work individually and evaluates it with its expert eyes. There is no pre-selection or shortlist. The same conditions apply to each participant, as the jury members evaluate each entry live and on site. Only the best design works, created by the high-quality field of participants within the Red Dot Award: Communication Design, are finally awarded the coveted quality seal, the Red Dot.
In autumn, the motto will once again be “Berlin Calling”! On 6 November, the competition’s winners will receive their trophies on stage of the glamorous Konzerthaus Berlin. Afterwards, the international design industry will celebrate together at the Designers’ Night – also the vernissage of the winners’ exhibition “Design on Stage” - at the E-Werk in Berlin until the early hours.
