The Red Dot Jury 2024 consists of 24 personalities from 13 nations: Brazil, China, France, Germany, Hungary, Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, Switzerland, South Korea, Taiwan, USA, Vietnam. What unites them is their design expertise, which they have acquired in the course of their careers as professors, communication designers or journalists.
The evaluation process
All submitted works, projects and brands will be comprehensively assessed by the international jury in a process lasting several days. The competition entries are individually assessed for their design quality and creative performance.
When assessing the submitted works, projects and brands, various criteria serve as the basis for the jury‘s professional discussion. In the “Communication Design” category, these are originality, creativity, creative excellence, innovative strength, comprehensibility and emotional impact. In the “Brand“ category, criteria such as vision, brand values, design, brand communication, brand identity and differentiation are assessed.
