House-topia

“House-topia”, which consists, among other things, of a picture scroll, a book and postcards, shows pastel-coloured illustrations in a modern Ukiyo-e style. With great attention to detail, the pictures portray people in their homes, where they engage in their passions. As they do so, time appears to stand still – in stark contrast to the busy world outside. The illustrations, which allow a keyhole view into the world of individuals, show different characters, for example a musician, a computer freak and a fortune teller.
