Concrete Works is an exhibition of works by the Austrian architectural practice Marte.Marte. The title Concrete Works is intentionally ambiguous: on the one hand, it stands for the highly concrete presentation of the projects and concepts implemented; on the other hand, it refers to concrete as a building material, a fascinating key element in the projects of Marte.Marte. The reduced and intransigent form and minimalist radical approach make the projects resemble sculptures more than buildings. They radiate clarity and density contrasting with spatial sensuality. Concrete Works displays models, posters and graphics of built and yet-to-be-built projects.
