Your products submitted for the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2025 will be available for collection between 14 and 25 April 2025. 

If you have decided to have your products collected, please instruct a forwarding agent, parcel service or other service provider of your choice to collect your items within the specified period. 

Should you no longer be interested in collection, we can offer you free disposal or donation of your products. Please send a brief informal email to logistics(at)red-dot.de.

Please note that only non-award products will be made available during this period. Award-winning products will be kept for exhibition purposes and can only be collected at a later date. Details can be found below.

Quick Guide

  1. Arrange collection with a courier, parcel service or forwarder of your choice
    Schedule the collection to take place between 14 and 25 April 2025. Arrange for a courier, parcel service or freight forwarder of your choice to collect your product.    
     
  2. Pass on PI code as pick-up reference 
    It is essential that you provide the courier, parcel service, freight forwarder or person collecting the goods with the PI code of your registration as a collection reference or have it noted on the shipping documents. The products will only be handed over if the PI code is given (e.g. 01-01234-2025PD).  
     
  3. Inform Red Dot Logistics and provide shipping documents 
    Please notify us of the collection date by emailing logistics(at)red-dot.de and send us any shipping documents (e.g. shipping labels or invoices) that Red Dot needs to include with the shipment. Documents should be sent at least one day before the actual collection. 

Collection of award-winning products

Please note that only non-awarded products will be available for collection during this period. If you have submitted further products and these have received an award, they will remain at Red Dot for exhibition purposes and can only be collected at a later date. 

Collection period for awarded products:
Presentation as a film/poster: September 2025
Presentation as original physical product: September 2026

Which presentation you have booked can be seen in your Winner Package and its invoice.

 

Special requirements for shipping outside of Europe

If your product is being shipped to a country outside the European Union (EU), please send us all relevant documents for customs clearance. In particular, a (proforma) invoice stating the value and contents of your shipment will be required. Additional documentation may be required depending on the specific characteristics of your product. If the value is 1000 Euro or more, please note that a formal customs declaration with a Master Reference Number (MRN) is required.

Please declare your shipment at customs by stating detailed information about the content and value of your shipment by using a proforma invoice.

For the proforma invoice, you can use this template to prepare your proforma invoice. Some couriers provide their own shipping documents. Please check beforehand if they will provide the documents or if you need to prepare them yourself.

Shipping liquids, powders, batteries or other dangerous goods

Please note that projects containing alcohol or other liquids, powders, or batteries may be considered dangerous goods in international shipping. We therefore ask you to send your packaging empty or, if necessary, with a suitable alternative filling.

Procedure in the event of failure to respond and collect

If your product has not been collected by 25 April 2025, it will no longer be available for collection and your products will be disposed of or, if possible, donated by Red Dot in accordance with our General Terms & Conditions.
