Editorial Illustration

Xtreme

Entitled “Xtreme: Between Genius and Insanity”, this work portrays twelve well-known eccentric personalities. Based on a fictional stage play, it was created as a corporate design for the theatre Schaustück, including a magazine, posters and entry tickets. A wild and expressive illustration technique was used to reflect the eccentricity of the individual characters. The illustrations are a combination of analogue drawings with Polychromos colour pencils and aquarelle combined with digital retouching. Anatomical disassociation underscores the schizophrenic personalities of the characters.
