WCG 2019
The terracotta army is a symbol of the Chinese city of Xian, partner to the return of the World Cyber Games 2019. The famous clay warriors became the key visual for the campaign to advertise the international tournament. They also adorned the corresponding poster series in powerful, contrasting colours and equipped with modern, technical accessories like Segways and controllers. In this way, the partnership between the city and the event was communicated effectively, and a visual link was created between tradition and modernity.
